The company was created in 2012 when the Jama Project was acquired in the prolific “Lithium Triangle” in a mining friendly province -Jujuy, Argentina- where 2 mining projects were already in operation. Jama attracted the attention of the company due to it significant characteristics. A 7,600ha project located in the heart of the Lithium Triangle, between Atacama, Hombre Muerto, Cauchari and Uyuni. Being a Tier One resource with significant upside. Its premier location, with proximity to existing infrastructure: (i) 2 gas pipelines, such as 20” Atacama Gas Pipeline with 1.97bcm/year capacity; (ii) adjacent to Route 52 paved highway connecting Chile and Argentina through Jama International Pass, (iii) connection to large ports in Chile and (iv) rail links to Antofagasta and Salta.
